The following are the more prevalent standards organizations with FISD interacts.

Please contact us if there are clarifications about any of the organizations on this page.

List of Standard Bodies:

  • SC4 (ISO TC 68 Sub Committee 4 - Securities and Related Financial Instruments):
  • ISO Technical Committee 68 Sub Committee 4 is the organization where most of the standards affecting the securities segment of the financial industry are sponsored into ISO for adoption as an international standard. FISD is a liaison member to SC4. This is where FISD speaks for the market data industry at the international standards level on behalf of FISD's members.

  • X9D (ANSI X9 D - Securities):
  • The ANSI (American National Standards Institute) X9 (Accredited Standards Committee) Securities Subcommittee.
ANSI is the United States voting organization for ISO. X9D represents securities in that forum and FISD is a member on behalf of FISD's members. Thus, it is through X9D that FISD votes on international standards.
